This project explores six notorious killers that terrorized the Great Plains region by mapping their murders through time and space. Charles Raymond Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate went on a murder rampage in the winter of 1957-1958. Richard Eugene Hickock and Perry Edward Smith killed a family of four in the winter of 1959. John L. Lotter and Marvin Thomas Nissen brutally murdered a transgender man in the winter of 1993.
